Forest of Fear 2022

October 22

Loyd Park on Joe Pool Lake | 3401 Ragland Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052

6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (Line will be closed at 8:30 p.m.)

Fee: $20/vehicle park entry fee

Ages: All Ages

Movies on the Lawn at EpicCentral

Saturday, October 22 – Halloweentown followed by The Addams Family 2 (During Epic Haunted Campout (campout full), movie is open to public)

6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Grab your lawn chairs or blanket and enjoy watching a movie outdoors on a huge inflatable screen. Free admission. Movies begin at sunset. Additional activities will be available before the movie begins. Coolers are allowed. No glass or alcohol. Food & beverages will be available for sale.

2nd Annual Grand Prairie PD Trunk or Treat
October 28, 2022, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
EPIC Parking Lot: 2960 EPIC Place, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Costume contest sponsored by Grand Prairie Ford. Cash Prizes! EPIC amounts of candy! Take photos with police officers and police vehicles.


Charley Taylor Recreation Center for the return of the Fall Carnival
Recommended for ages 5-12, free event.

Enjoy carnival games, a bounce house, and free candy.

Dia de los Muertos

Sunday, October 30

Grand Prairie Farmers Market

120 W. Main St.

A Dia de los Muertos celebration is coming to Downtown Grand Prairie. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall Plaza, and a processional will lead to Grand Prairie Farmers Market, where performances, arts & crafts, food trucks, and vendors will be available!

There will be an Altar Contest, but participants must register in advance by emailing Chip Nami, cnami@gptx.org, or Camryn Thompson, cthompson@gptx.org. Spots are limited. Attendees not participating in the altar contest may bring a framed picture(s) of loved ones. These pictures will be displayed on the City/Community table during the event. Framed pictures must be removed by the family at the end of the event. The city will not be responsible for any framed pictures not removed/ left behind. Visit GPTX.org for more information.


Street ‘N Treat

Monday, October 31

6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Grand Prairie City Hall, 200 Block of W. Main St.

Join us for an enjoyable Halloween event in Grand Prairie! Participants will enjoy FREE games, face painting, kid’s crafts, and trick-or-treating at Grand Prairie City Hall! Prepare to dress to impress, ask “Trick-or-Treat,” and bring a bucket for candy!
