GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS (June 8, 2025) — A dangerous line of severe storms is expected to sweep through North Texas late this evening, with the greatest impact anticipated between 9:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. across the DFW area. The National Weather Service has issued an advisory warning of damaging winds up to 80 mph, large hail, and the possibility of brief tornadoes and localized flash flooding.
