One Dead, One Hurt in Early-Morning I-30 Crash Sunday in Grand Prairie

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Nov. 3, 2025) — The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Sunday morning, Nov. 2, 2025, in the 2700 block of E IH-30 near MacArthur Boulevard.
Police said the collision happened at about 3:20 a.m. Sunday as a semi-truck was traveling westbound in slow-moving traffic. A Chevy Tahoe struck the rear of the semi, then collided with a Honda passenger car.
The Tahoe’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver was not injured, and the Honda’s driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Witnesses told investigators the Tahoe was traveling at a high rate of speed before impact and that the driver was not wearing a seat belt.
The identity of the deceased will be released by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin are notified.
The crash remains under investigation.
