Grand Prairie Police Investigating Homicide Following Friday Night Robbery
The Grand Prairie Police Department is actively investigating a homicide that took place on Friday night in the 2400 block of North Carrier Parkway. Daniel Garcia, 33, was found dead at the scene with an apparent gunshot wound. Authorities believe the incident may have been the result of a robbery gone wrong.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a reported shooting at the location, where they discovered Garcia's lifeless body. Witness statements indicate that the victim was confronted by three unidentified males, who proceeded to rob him at gunpoint before ultimately shooting him.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the homicide, and the case remains under investigation. In an effort to bring those responsible to justice, Grand Prairie Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects involved.
