Grand Prairie Police Investigate Suspicious Death

Body found at Shawnee Trace residence Saturday; no suspects being sought

Grand Prairie police are investigating the death of a man under suspicious circumstances after his body was discovered at his home over the weekend.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Shawnee Trace at approximately 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 11, regarding a deceased male at his residence.

Detectives believe the man died under suspicious circumstances and are currently investigating to determine what exactly occurred. Police said they are not currently searching for any suspects or witnesses.

The investigation remains ongoing.
