Body found in creek positively identified as missing Grand Prairie veteran

The body found inside a creek in the 1400 block of SE 14th Street in Grand Prairie on Saturday, November 26th, has been positively identified by the Dallas County medical examiner’s Office as that of Santiago “Jimmy” Guajardo, the 80-year-old man who was reported missing towards the end of October. A silver alert was issued on October 31st.

SILVER ALERT: GPPD is currently searching for Santiago Guajardo, 80 years of age, who was last seen walking in the 100 block of Dorris Drive. Santiago is wearing the black US Army hat in the photo and blue jeans. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
