Arlington PD Seeks Public’s Help to Identify Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child Suspect
The Arlington Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a child sex assault investigation.
On November 26, 2022, at approximately 8:25 p.m., officers responded to a business in the 5900 block of S. Cooper Street after employees reported that a teen customer made an outcry to them.
Due to the nature of the case and the age of the victim, the department is extremely limited in the details it can release publicly.
Surveillance cameras captured an adult male believed to the be the suspect exiting the business. A still photo is attached to this release.
He is described as a black male, approximately 50-years-old, 5’9” – 5’11” tall, with a short fade, salt & pepper hair, and wearing glasses. He was seen leaving the business in a dark-colored, late-model Cadillac SUV (possibly a Cadillac XT4 or XT5) with no license plates. Two photos of the vehicle are also attached.

The department would like to thank and recognize the employees of the business, as well as a Good Samaritan customer, for helping the victim. Based on our investigation, it appears the customer alerted employees the victim may be in trouble. The employees immediately intervened, scared off the suspect, and contacted 911.
