Arlington Officers Respond to Gunfire at Car Dealership, Suspect down and in custody

At around 6:30 this evening, Arlington Police responded to a report of shots fired at a car dealership along the I-20 frontage road between Cooper and Matlock.

When officers arrived at the dealership, they encountered an armed individual.

That individual is down — and is in Arlington Police custody.

No officers were injured and there are no reports of any injuries to bystanders or members of the public.
